Well would you look at that.  Godhand got a top on his own.  We also have the rare Protect deck appearing (in teams) and its Nubas.  Genesis and Angel Feather are still confirmed missing from relevancy.

I'm not surprised by this.  Angels and Nubas are outgunned in the format, Godhand is a highroll deck like Aqua Force and Genesis are too much of a glass cannon.  Otherwise it's more of the same really.

One tournament on one weekend and like 4 the other.  Well then.  Anyway this marks the end of the Raging Tactics format and how did it go?  Well;

-Tachikaze performed the best.  This is no surprise given how good Accel has been for a while.  High powered attacks with board restanding will get you places.

-Spikes and Megacolony got what, a single top each?  Spikes is unsurprising as they're more popular in the west and the bugs are just bad.

-Murakumo is the BDIF post banlist and is more Watch List worthy than Dimensional Police are.  Any time we see all of a top 4 cut be one single deck is concerning.  Pale Moon are a good 2nd as they can avoid having their board wiped and Shadow Paladin is the best Force Clan now that BT are dead in Standard while Narukami are the 4th best Accel deck it seems.

-Premium at least in the east turned out differently than I expected.  I'll admit to buying into the "DI is gonna be tier 0 and fuck us all" hype but the deck is not even close to crushing it over there.  Gold Paladin are because guess what?  Beaumans and Wonder Ezel (OG) are kind of degenerate.  Nubatama has seemed to have decided that Rinne isn't worth keeping over Jammy and we've now got the return of Taco Lord which I never thought I'd say with a straight face.  But hey ripping the opponent down to 4 before stride is REALLY good.

That's the format in a nutshell.  What will Set 7 bring to the table?  On paper I don't know if it'll do much outside of Nova Grappler.  If the Godhand deck is able to pop off it can easily deal about 2-4 damage but the clap back will be very real when dealing with decks like Kumo and Pales.  Nubatama may do something and the other two clans I'm skeptical about.  Angel Feather didn't get nearly as good of a buff needed to compete and Genesis really needed some more cards to cycle Valk.  As it is that deck basically has to hope to hit Valk in the first couple turns and sack the opponent before they can establish.  After that I think the deck will struggle if the game goes past Turn 4.  I'll accept being proven wrong however as I think the whole G5 thing is neat.
