Oh you know I like seeing these Narukami tops.  It's all Vanquisher too.  The deck just works so well with its ability to multi attack with good power, remove threats and generate resources.  Vanquisher's turn 4 is scary and if it wins the dieroll and opens playable (riding Vanq and having a hand binder + a target) you have a reasonable chance of knocking out even Riviere provided they don't open the nuts on you.  It shows too as NK is the 2nd most played deck in nearly every Standard tournament so far (and apparently it's conversion rate is comparable or better than Riv's).  Small mention is the tournament that decided to ban G2 Caro from being played in Riviere and the deck proceeds to do nothing.  It's almost as if Caro should be hit on the next banlist like alot of people have been saying.  Meanwhile Aqua Force continues to play Revonn in favour of Malestrom and Shadows as expected do not care at all about Claret Sword outside of "I'ma meme lolcals!"

You guys know I'm happy to see Vanquisher doing well.  I figured it'd be good against alot of the decks in the field with a questionable Riviere matchup going 2nd (but then again what deck can compete with Riv after losing the dieroll?) and the results are showing just that.  Mind you these are based off teams and a special Two Deck tournament.  I'm sure if it was Bo1 Singles we'd see more Riviere than Vanquisher topping.  Revonn also seems to have ousted Malestrom as the de facto Aqua deck and thank god for that.  Seeing the king of degeneracy Glory Malestrom getting yeeted will allow alot of us to sleep easier I'm sure.  Claret is to nobody's surprise awful.

Huh.  Tachis won one.  Mind you that deck when it highrolls (or Opens Exodia as players like to say) going first you literally cannot lose with it and that's probably how he beat Riviere because lolbestofone.  That'd also explain why Aquas are in here as Glory steals games.  No clue how Great Nature got in though.

Anyway so ends EB11 format if we can really call it an end.  EB12 isn't going to change up the dynamic aside from Vanquisher replacing Gauntlet Buster when the odd NK deck does top but at the end of the day we are still being ruled by our fish overlords.
