BT vs Kagero seems to be the format with other decks sometimes getting a word in edgewise. BT is still looking to be the BDIF but Kagero can at least defeat it if they can slightly highroll as if they can aggro them asap and keep the tempo up then they have a chance to beat the deck by the time Dragonic Overlord the Great hits the field. However if the BT player survives this then they're probably going to win. Kagero rolls pretty much everything else in the format and if I were to make a Tier list I'd say that BT is Tier S, Kagero is Tier A and everything is Tier B and below. What's also noteworthy is that Kagero is moving away from Dragonic Waterfall and focusing on playing Dragonic Overlord, Dragonic Overlord the Great and (if the player can get ahold of him) Dual Axe Archdragon. DOtG's playstyle is naturally better against Protect decks like OTT and Angel and Dual Axe allows you to blitz people with Guard Restrict from the onset. Furthermore by playing more Overlords you make Dragon Buster's Soul Blast 2 skill more likely to go off and focusing on DotG means you aren't required to constantly reride in order to attempt to win which naturally makes Murakumo sad.
Oh and BT is able to build up hefty hand size like OTT and NN so they can easily defend against Waterfall and push back. That also probably has something to do with it.
